NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2023:

Applications are invited in the prescribed format from the eligible candidates having Degree (4 years’ duration)/Diploma (3 years’ duration) & I.T.I. Candidates in the trades mentioned herein below in the following discipline for undergoing ONE-year Graduate Apprentice/Technician/Diploma and ITI Apprentice Training at Loktak Power Station, a unit of NHPC Limited (A Govt. of India Enterprise) under the Apprentice Act / MSDE, GOI and/or as amended from time to time

NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2023 Notification

NHPC selection of Apprentice Trainees shall be on the basis of online interview/Virtual Interview. Selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training for One Year. NHPC Apprentice Notification & NHPC India Jobs apply online link is available @ nhpcindia.com.

ITI Candidates:
1. Electrician 2. Lineman/Wireman 3. Power Electrician 4. Fitter
5. Machinist 6. Instrument Mechanic 7. Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) 8. Mason (Building Constructor)

NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Educational Qualification

For Degree and Diploma:

• 1. The applicant should have passed the Degree/Diploma examination from any recognized institution as per ibid Act.
• 2. The Applicant who will be completing 3 years 3 months after having passed the qualifying Degree/Diploma as on 01.01.2024 and who have acquired prior training/experience for more than one year are not eligible to apply under this notification.
• 3. The candidates who have acquired prior training/experience for more than one year and the candidates who have absconded previous apprenticeship training are not eligible to apply under this Notification.

For ITI Candidates:

• 1. The applicant should have passed 10th Class under 10 + 2 system of education or its equivalent.
• 2. The applicant should have passed ITI examination from the recognized institution in the respective trade as per Apprentice Act.
• 3. The applicant should have completed minimum age of 14 years as on 01.01.2024.
• The candidates who have acquired prior training/experience for more than one year and the candidates who have absconded previous apprenticeship training are not eligible to apply under this

Stipend

During the training period the monthly stipend will be paid for Diploma/Technician Apprentice as per Apprentice Act and/or Notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India, New Delhi, as amended from time to time

Documents to be enclosed for NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2023

Documents to be enclosed:

1. Self-attested copies of Certificates in regard to proof of Age, Educational and Technical Qualification.
2. Copy of Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent
3. A Character Certificate (Original) issued by the Gazetted
4. SC/ST/OBC Applicants should attach the self-attested copy of Caste Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
5. One passport size recent photograph signed on top of the photograph shall be affixed in the space as shown in the application

Important Dates for NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2023

1. In case any information/claim made by the applicant in his/her application is found to be false, the candidature of such applicant shall be cancelled and action, as per rule will be taken against him/ her.
2. Selected candidates will have to submit Medical Fitness Certificate issued by the Authorized Medical Attendant of Govt Hospital at the time of joining.
3. The selection of Apprentices will be subject to detailed provisions of Apprentices Act, 1961/ National Apprenticeship Promotion
4. Candidate who have already taken such training from any other Govt./Semi. Govt. organisation/PSU shall not be considered for this

NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2023 Selection Process

The eligible and shortlisted candidates will be issued call letter for interview intimating the date and venue through email. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Marks secured in respective trade/discipline and performance during online / virtual Interview.

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the interview. At the time of reporting/joining for apprenticeship training, the selected candidates are required to submit a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by District Civil Surgeon or equivalent as per rules of Apprentice Act.

NHPC Apprentice Recruitment 2023 Application Submission

The application form in the prescribed format neatly typed in double space on A4 size paper duly filled should be reached to the Group Senior Manager (HR), Loktak Power Station, NHPC Ltd., Komkeirap, Distt: Churachandpur, Manipur, PIN-795124 before closing of office hours on 20.12.2023 through India Post/Courier or e-mail.
