Indian Coast Guard ICGS Amulya. ICGS Amulya, a new-generation Fast Patrol Vessel (FPV), commissioned into the Indian Coast Guard (ICG). The commissioning ceremony took place on Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Goa Shipyard. The vessel is the third in the series of eight “Adamya” class Fast Patrol Vessels. Its name, “Amulya,” translates to “priceless,” reflecting its strategic value to India’s maritime defense.

దిల్లీ: మెరుపు వేగంతో సాగరజలాల్లో గస్తీ నిర్వహించే నౌక అమూల్య శుక్రవారం భారత తీర రక్షణ దళంలో చేరింది. దీంతో తూర్పు తీరంలో కోస్ట్గార్డ్ పోరాట సామర్థ్యానికి మరింత దన్ను లభించినట్లయింది. ఇది కొత్త తరం అదమ్య తరగతి ఫాస్ట్ పెట్రోల్ వెసెల్స్ శ్రేణిలో మూడోది.
Delhi: The ship Amulya, which patrols ocean waters with lightning speed, joined the Indian Coast Guard on Friday. With this, the fighting capability of the Coast Guard on the East Coast has received further reinforcement. This is the third in the series of new-generation Adamya class Fast Patrol Vessels.
Indian Coast Guard ICGS Amulya నిర్వహించే బాధ్యతలు (Roles & Responsibilities):
నిఘా, గాలింపు, సహాయ చర్యలు, స్మగ్లింగ్ నివారణ, కాలుష్య ప్రతిస్పందన వంటి కార్యకలాపాలను ఇది చేపట్టగలదు. It can undertake activities such as surveillance, search and rescue, anti-smuggling, and pollution response.
Indian Coast Guard ICGS Amulya సాంకేతిక వివరాలు (Technical Specifications):
- నౌక పొడవు (Length): 51 మీటర్లు (51 meters).
- ఇంజిన్లు (Engines): ఇందులో 3వేల కిలోవాట్ల సామర్థ్యం ఉన్న రెండు అధునాతన డీజిల్ ఇంజిన్లు ఉన్నాయి (It has two advanced diesel engines with a capacity of 3,000 kW each).
- వేగం (Speed): ఈ నౌక గరిష్టంగా 50 కిలోమీటర్ల వేగాన్ని అందుకోగలదు (The ship can reach a maximum speed of 50 km/h).
- దూరం (Range): ఏకబిగిన 1500 నాటికల్ మైళ్ల దూరం ప్రయాణించగలదు (It can travel a distance of 1,500 nautical miles at a stretch).
Indian Coast Guard ICGS Amulya స్వదేశీ పరిజ్ఞానం (Indigenous Knowledge):
దీన్ని గోవా షిప్యార్డ్ నిర్మించింది. స్వదేశీ నౌకానిర్మాణ సామర్థ్యానికి ఇది నిదర్శనమని ఓ అధికారి తెలిపారు. అమూల్యలో 60 శాతం స్వదేశీ ఉపకరణాలను ఉపయోగించారు. అందులో నియంత్రిత పిచ్ ప్రొపెల్లర్లు, హై ప్రిసిషన్ గేర్బాక్స్లు ఉన్నాయి. వీటి సాయంతో ఈ నౌక సాగర జలాల్లో ఒడుపుగా కదలగలదు. It was built by Goa Shipyard. An official stated that this is a testament to indigenous shipbuilding capability. 60 percent indigenous equipment was used in Amulya, including controllable pitch propellers and high-precision gearboxes. With their help, the ship can move deftly in sea waters.
ఆయుధ సామర్థ్యం (Weaponry):
ఇందులో 30 ఎంఎం సీఆర్ఎన్-91 గన్, రెండు 12.7 ఎంఎం స్టెబిలైజ్డ్ రిమోట్ కంట్రోల్డ్ గన్లు ఉంటాయి. It features a 30 mm CRN-91 gun and two 12.7 mm stabilized remote-controlled guns.
స్థావరం (Base):
ఒడిశాలోని పారాదీప్ కేంద్రంగా ఈ నౌక సేవలు అందిస్తుంది. The ship will provide services based out of Paradip in Odisha.
