IB Recruitment 2023 Eligibility – Educational Qualification
The required eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualification, age limit, and domicile have been listed below as per IB Recruitment 2023 Notification.
IB Recruitment Education Qualification
The candidate must have done Matriculation (10th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education
Possession of domicile certificate of that state against which candidates have applied.
For only SA/MT Post.
Possession of a valid driving license for mortar cars (LMV) issued by the competent authority.
Knowledge of motor mechanisms.
Experience driving a mortar car for at least one year after receiving a valid driving license..
Intelligence Bureau Recruitment Age Limit (as on 13/11/2023)
For Security Assistant/MT posts, the candidates must not exceed the age limit of 27 years.
For Multi Tasking Staff, the candidates must fall in the age group of 18-25 years.

Q6. Can a candidate who is awaiting final result apply for the post?
Ans: No. A candidate must be Matriculate on closing date otherwise he/she is not eligible.
Q7. Whether NOC required for PSUs / Govt. Departments employees?
Ans: Candidates already in Government service or working with PSUs/Autonomous Bodies should inform their Employer or obtain necessary permission, as the case may be, before applying for the said post. However, candidates working in PSUs, Autonomous/Statuary bodies etc. are not eligible for age relaxation.

Ans: Please check the size of photograph and signature (50 to 100 KB) and format of the files must be JPG or JPEG.

Ans: No, the photograph and signature are to be uploaded at the time of registration only.
Q12. What is the subject of Tier-I & II? Please give some selective book.
Ans: Tier-I Exam will consist of multiple choice objective type questions common for both the posts while Tier II Exam will consists on Motor Mechanism and Driving Test cum Interview for the post of SA/MT and Descriptive Test on English Language & Comprehension for the post of MTS/Gen. No specific book is recommended.
Q13. What is the syllabus like reasoning, Math, GK etc.?
Ans: Tier-I will focus on General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical/Analytical/Logical Ability & Reasoning and English Language . Tier-II focus on to check the knowledge/skill of the candidate in motor mechanism & driving for the post of SA/MT and English Language & Comprehension for the post of MTS/Gen.
Q14. What is the eyesight for the job? Can a color blind candidate apply for the job?
Ans: As per the medical standard prescribed for the post, the candidate should possess normal color vision and should be fit as per our medical standard.

Ans: The challan would be valid till 16.11.2023 after the closing date and generated on application portal.

Ans: After photograph and signature are uploaded, it can be checked in the preview application page. In case you are not satisfied with the uploaded images, you may re-upload Photograph/Signature and then confirm on upload/browse button. The reloaded photograph and signature can again be viewed by clicking on the preview button. After having clicked on the submit application button, the system will not allow any changes in the uploaded photo / signature.
